In fact,BDS is most popular and best career option.It's highly reputed and highly demanding field.There are lots of opportunities in this field,after degree completion.And... Yes,BDS is actually best career option. but I wouldn't say that BHMS course is bad. Both the courses you mentioned in your question have their own demands and their own popularity.And,both courses for noble cause so both courses are highly respected in society.

You can get a job in government sector or you can do private practices and can open private clinic for both BDS and BHMS courses.You can join as a professor or assistant professor in many of the Colleges.

So as I said,Both Courses are good at their place.you should consider your interest,Eligibility criteria to get admission for course. And focus on what you feel sure about,then only choose the course.
