Hi Abhi!

Political science deals with working of the state and government at national as well as international levels. It basically focuses on analysis of the previous political events/policies and then draw conclusions from them for the betterment of citizens.

Public Administration require operations such as planning, directing, organising and controlling of the government and its policies. These both fields are closely relaed as both focus on the betterment of the society but career options might vary. Political science is a complicated field than PA but PS has more career options. After PA most of the students choose to apply for UPSC exam as the job requires the practical use of the subject.

In a nutshell, both courses gives a diversity of career options and opportunities. So, it depends on your interest to choose one of these.

Thankyou!
