ECE as well as CSE both are best courses in some or the other way. CSE is a computer based course whereas ECE will focus both on hardware as well as software. Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning are evolving terms where it will take time to be recognized. Though the future depends on Artificial Intelligence it will take time for teaching faculty to learn these things. So they will learn along with the students. It would be better if you opt pure CSE. You can pursue Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as specialization if you want. You can also opt for CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as an undergraduate degree. But it might take time to be recognized then pursuing maters might become a difficult task. If you choose CSE you can have opportunities only in IT companies but if you choose ECE you can have placements in IT as well as core companies. Choose wisely, ALL THE BEST.
