Which courses and which colleges do I need to take for getting into animation field

After 12th, You can do a graduation course animation/multimedia to get your basics strong and futher choose your specialization of interest. Some of the other courses you can pursue are:

  • Bsc in Multimedia Production and Technology
  • Bsc in VFX and Animation
  • Bsc in Animation and Gaming
  • BA in visual effects and Gaming
  • BA in digital media

There are various certication and diploma courses as well in animation.

Some of the colleges which provide the above courses are:

  • Arena Animation
  • Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC)
  • National Institute of Design
  • Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay
  • Picasso Animation College
  • School of Animation and Visual Effects
