Hi!
CSE is better at NIT rourkela than at NIT Surat.
In terms of placements,infrastructure, extracurricular club activities and overall student life.
Distance from home will bother you for a while but then you will settle in.
Homesickness happens to all but you should remember why you are there in the first place.
Hence,just do not get too bothered by such a factor as it happens to all of us and is a part of life
