I hope you are doing good in your life and you're asking for which degree is best for IAS career then I think you must be thinking to become an IAS officer.

So let me tell you firstly that to become an IAS officer you must pass out the the Union Public Service Commission civil services examination and for that you must have graduated from any degree and from any recognised college. For giving UPSC CSE examination your degree doesn't matter but if you want to know that which degree suits you or which degree you should do then I would suggest you do that thing in which you feel interested and can devote your much of the time without getting bored.

One more thing I want to tell you that most of the candidates of for Bachelor in Arts as its most of the syllabus coincide with their UPSC CSE examination syllabus which help them in preparing for that exam. So you can consider it also.

The best degree would be the one which you have pursued in graduation or post graduation as only revision of the concept will be required and no extra effort will be needed for that because upsc already have a vast syllabus .
But if you are not confident about your graduation degree then high scoring subjects for upsc include agriculture, mathematics, geography, anthropology, sociology, etc .you can choose among them .
