Mechanical department is considered to be best beacuse of the placements offered : 250 students approx (Including Lateral Entry) for admission

5 sections with average class strength of 50 in each section

If your cg is above 6 and you are a very good programming/coding enthusiast, your minimum package will be 6 lpa. Such is life of a guy who takes up a computing course

Mechanical Engineering is the department which used to have large number of placements, in the recent years ECE is trying to race ahead of Mechanical in terms of Core placements.

Sastra is famous for Mechanical. In Placements view, CSE,IT and ICT are better.Currently, Biotechnology is also developing and the demand is increasing.

The college is a bit stringent only.

No non veg is served within the campus.

It serves good for vegetarians.
