Hello,

Firstly, a Content Producer is someone who writes for websites – from news stories and blogs, to product descriptions and auditing existing content, all the while ensuring that corporate content strategy is properly implemented.

To be a content producer, you need a B.A degree or a graduate diploma in English, communications, marketing, journalism, advertising, or any such related field.

To be a content producer, you should have the following natural skills-

1. Have writing and language ability and a good general knowledge
2. Be curious and persistent
3. Be accurate, unbiased and objective
4. Work well with others
5. Have initiative and be resourceful
6. Have a good command of more than one of the official languages

The technical knowledge that are required to be a content producer are-

1. Working knowledge of HTML and CMS software such as WordPress and understanding Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimisation techniques
2. Fluent in Microsoft office - MS Word and MS Excel
3. Planning, writing, and editing copy in a professional capacity for web projects
4. Experience comprised of agency, digital and/or media publishing work
5. Experience in Photoshop
6. Working knowledge of Social Networking sites.
7. Fluent in desired language : written and spoken
