The below mentioned engineering disciplines has very promising future. All the major private companies and even government sector are looking for engineers mentioned below.


1. Electronics Engineer

Electronics engineering is the branch which is preferred by most of the young students. Their first choice would be electronics and communication discipline.

PROFESSION:

The job of an Electronics and communication engineer is very demanding. Here you will have to design logic circuits for the changing world. You have to come up with new ideas on daily basis.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be a successful electronics and communication engineer you need to work hard on designing and creating new logical circuits.

Apart from good academic performance in all the 8 semesters you need to come up with a project that could be acceptable in job market.

To get a decent job you will need at least an experience of 2 to 3 years after completing the 4 years degree course.

INCOME:

An Average Engineer: Rs 15,000/- to Rs 20,000/- Per MonthA Good Engineer: Rs 25,000/- to Rs 40,000/- Per MonthTop Grade Engineer: Rs 50,000/- to Rs 100,000/ to Rs 250,000/- Per Month

PRESENT & FUTURE:

Present as well as future of an electronic & communication engineer is very bright. It is always an evergreen branch. So an electronic engineer has not to bother about its future.

2. Software Engineer

PROFESSION:
A software engineer is expected to write programs for various applications. It could be for system as well as application programs.

ELIGIBILITY:
You need to have bachelor’s degree in computer science or MCA. Moreover, you need to have knowledge of different computer language.

For a fresher, you must be good at programming. For experienced, you need to have worked with different language developing programs both windows and web based.

INCOME:
An Average Engineer: Rs 7500/- to Rs 15,000/- Per MonthA Good Engineer: Rs 25,000/- to Rs 50,000/- Per MonthTop Grade Engineer: Rs 60,000/- to Rs 150,000/- Per Month

PRESENT & FUTURE:

Present of a software engineer is good but future is even more exciting. As you see, IT industry is growing more and more software engineers would be needed in future.

3. Civil Engineer

PROFESSION:

A civil engineer’s job is not new. It is perhaps the oldest branch of engineering. Civil engineers have a great responsibility of creating cities which are modern and well planned.

ELIGIBILITY:

To become a civil engineer you need a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. You must have a great skill for designing and architecture because you have to design new buildings.

An Average Engineer: Rs 6,000/- to Rs 14,000/- Per MonthA Good Engineer: Rs 20,000/- to Rs 35,000/- Per MonthTop Grade Engineer: Rs 40,000/- to Rs 75,000/- Per Month

PRESENT & FUTURE:

Present of a civil engineer is good. Few years back the demand for civil engineers was quite less but in future because of urbanization of the country more and more civil engineers would required.

4. Electrical Engineer

PROFESSION:

Electrical engineer is also an old branch. Electrical engineers need to build electrical equipments for all purposes.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Then you would be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supervising of equipments.

INCOME:

PRESENT & FUTURE:

Both present and future demand of electrical engineers would remain steady. Neither it will increase nor decrease.

5. Nuclear Engineer

PROFESSION:

In this profession, nuclear engineer has to design, monitor and maintain the nuclear reactors and power plant.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must have bachelors’ degree in nuclear engineering. Apart from this you must have passion for nuclear physics.

INCOME:

  • An Average Engineer: Rs 15,000/- to Rs 20,000/- Per Month
  • A Good Engineer: Rs 25,000/- to Rs 40,000/- Per Month
  • Top Grade Engineer: Rs 50,000/- to Rs 100,000/- Per Month

PRESENT & FUTURE:

Although present of a nuclear engineer is not so good but in future as energy demand grows our country will need more nuclear plants hence more nuclear engineer.
