You have to get in through one of these competative exams:

1)KVPY

If you have a rank below 300250 in SA or SX stream, then you can get admission in IISc for ug.

2)JEE mains

If you score around 260300 in mains, you will also get admission.

3)JEE Advanced

If you score around the same score in mains, you can get admission.

4)NEET

If you get a rank under 300,you can get admission.(However, when it was AIPMT,the cutoff rank was 600)

So as you can see,it is very difficult through JEE and NEET so KVPY is your best bet.

All the best:)

EDIT 1:This is for a general candidate.For a reserved one,it is easier.

KVPY:You just have to qualify.

JEE Mains:Have to score around 150200

JEE Advanced:Rank of around 1200

Thank you :)

Dear Student,

All the branches are good in engineerig it all depends on your skills and interest.

Before choosing any branch you should decide which type of career you want to make in future.

If we compare all the branches then CSE is the most demanding branch among students and provides maximum placements.

You should focus on to get top colleges in engineering to get good teaching and placements.

To take admission in IISc Bangalore you can appear in KVPY, IIT JEE or NEET.
