Hello,

Each branches are good and have scope in its field. it depends on your interest & capability. Some of the core branches you can prefer:

CSE:It is not only development & coding but also testing and life-time support, which needs CSE engineers in drove. The major chunk of jobs offered in India, every year, are for CS engineers.

The expected salary for freshers is fromaroundRs. 3 Lakh PA to Rs. 5 Lakh PA for jobs. The package also depends on the institute & the organization.

ECE:An electronic engineer can find a job in Consumer electronics manufacturing organization , Telecommunication & IT industries, Internet technologies, Power Electronics, and other industries like steel, petroleum and chemical industry. The salary range for EC freshers from around Rs. 2.5 to Rs. 3.5 Lakh PA.It also depends on the institute & the organization.

EEE:Electrical & Electronics engineers can work in wide range of fields such as power generation, electronics, computers & control systems, telecommunication and Bio-Medical.The starting salaries for electrical engineer freshers range around from Rs. 3 Lakh PA to Rs. 4 Lakh PA.It also depends on the institute & the organization.

ME:India always had robust heavy-manufacturing industries like steel, metal, forging, automobile and mining. All these industries require steady inflow of fresh Mechanical engineering graduates. The starting salaries for mechanical engineers range from around Rs. 2 Lakh to Rs. 4.5 Lakh.It also depends on the institute & the organization.

Civil Engineering:Civil Engineers are usually required in every field some of them:Government Departments, Local Authorities, Civil Engineering Contractor,Civil Engineering Consultants.

Hope it helps

Dear candidate,

If you are having interest in physics and maths then you should go for mechanical engineering as it is a evergreen branch. If you don't like physics but do have interest in programimg then you should choose CSE or IT.

I telling you this because whatever the high scope of branch you are opting, if you don't have passion to learn about it,then you are going to be a bad engineer. In the end you will always regret it. So first thing first choose what you like.

Now coming to scope of different branches Mechanical engineering , as I said scope is always high. But remember company only selects the best. CSE and IT is also in boom, as you know our life is completely bounded by gadzets, so demand of CASE and IT is also increasing.similar for electrical and electronics.

But one branch which is going to get a increasing boom is , I feel robotics and mechatronics.

Robotic and automation sector is currently in infant stage but in future it's going to do a lot of impact.

Hope I answer your question and it's helpful.

All the best!

Dear student, considering the future and the present means of the generation, robotics and artificial intelligence engineering seem to give the the best scope to competitive students. Other branches with also have growing demand due to the increasing population and hunger for innovation.

Hello

Robotics and Artificial Intelligence is going to have huge demand. Medical Engineering is another one. Agricultural Engineering, Civil, Electronics they are all going to be in demand. An Engineer cannot build anything himself. He needs help from cross functional departments. None of the engineering branch is going to disappear anytime soon.

Your degree does not determine your salary. It just does not work like that. If you understand this as a teenager you can avoid some painful surprises in the future.

I hope it will help you

Good luck...
