Hello Ratha,
This question brought a smile on my face, there are a lot of amazing branches in Indian colleges and it totally depends upon you to choose whichever branch you want.
Now, there are branches related to coding, such as Computer Engineering (COE) , Information Technology(IT). These are the branches which promise a high average package. Moving on to other brances we have Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE). These branches are good for placement as well as for government jobs.
Moving on to the core branches e.g Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Chemical Engineering , Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering. These branches have a wide scope inn the govt. sector and also in research.
There are branches such as Bio tech. and Engineering Physics which are extremely good in the field of research.
At the end of the day, it depends upon your interest and love for the subject that makes it interesting.
Thankyou
Hey Aspirant, there are various aspects to compare various engineering branches from which the most famous one is placement criteria.
Placement wise in this decade Computer Science and IT top the list with more than 90% placements in some of the top engineering colleges. ECE too is a great course placement wise with more than 70% placement.
You can compare various courses but what you should opt can't be decided by these factors.
You should opt only that course which excites you to do engineering and not that which will provide with a job.
I hope you will understand.
