Apart from computer science and engg., electronics engg. Is in demand nowadays. Besides this, chemical engg., petroleum engg., aeronautics, aerospace, nuclear engg. Are also in demand. These are all the highest paid engineering degrees.

It's always said that mechanical and civil engineering are ever green branches. Apart from these ECE, EEE are other branches which most of the people are choosing. Few other which have scope out of our country are aerospace engineering and automobile engineering and so on.

But the main thing is in what you want to make your career is it software and MNCs or some other. Now a days any branch engineer is getting into MNCs. So choose your branch depending on your interest and field to work in.
