Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
No branch is better or worst. It just depends on your interest totally. If you are more of technology and always looks how do technology works, then CSE is made for you. And if chemistry , then go for chemical engineering.
It is a fact and nobody can deny it, hands down CS engineering has better job prospects when compared to chemical engineering or any other engineering for that matter.
But, you should always bear in mind that, even though job opportunities are high in CS, number of candidates are also high. On the other hand, job opportunities are limited in chemical engineering, but candidates are also less.
Hi
It completely depends upon your interest because if you are not interested in something you won't be able to excel in it
Anyway,
In general BTech computer science in a way better than B tech chemical engineering because:-
----------------) placement ratio is very high in case of computer science
----------------) the package of Computer Science Students is way higher than chemical engineering in general
----------------) you can have exponential growth in your job after computer science with your experience in software field
----------------) in general job opportunities are more for computer science as more and more software startups/ companies are opening.
