For admission into diploma in animal husbandry courses in Maharashtra you must have taken Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology as compulsory subjects in your 10/12th. They should have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate and be minimum 16 years of age. Candidates belonging to reserved category shall be give 5% relaxation in the eligibility criteria.
Most of the colleges conduct their own entrance exams for admission into diploma for animal husbandry. The entrance exam shall include questions on Physics, Chemistry and General Knowledge up to class 11th and 12th. The selection of candidates in some colleges shall be done on merit as per marks secured in last qualifying examination.
