For undergraduate programmes,  Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore accepts scores of 10+2 examination or any equivalent qualifying examination. Post which candidates selected based on merit has to appear for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counselling conducted by Anna University. For admission to postgraduate programmes, candidates are selected based on the scores of the GATE or TANCET  which is conducted by Anna University.
