The Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore offers the following courses:

1. Undergraduate programmes - Bsc (Research) with specialization in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Earth&Environmental Sciences,Materials or Mathematics

2.PG Course Programmes - Master of Technology(Mtech), Master of Design(M Des) and Master of Management (M Mgt)

3.PG Research Programmes - Integrated Ph.D, Mtech (Research)/Ph.D, External registration programme

The merit list is prepared based on certain national level entrance examinations and the candidates have to fulfil the eligbilty criteria specified for each course.

Exams to be taken for the admission in  to these courses:

1.UG programme:  qualify any of the three- KVPY,IIT JEE or NEET

2.PG Course programmes

a. M Des- GATE or CEED

b.Mtech- GATE

c. M Mgt- GATE or CAT/GMAT

3.PG Research Programmes- JAM and other exams.
