While your JEE Main rank determines whether or not you get into the B. Tech programme, your GATE scores and CCMT counselling determine whether or not you get into the M. Tech programme. To be eligible for admission to these programmes, applicants must achieve a rank in the range of 4400 to 40,000 on the B Tech program's required exam, JEE Main.
