NEET is the national level entrance examination for veterinary i. e BVSC. And it is mandatory to qualify neet for all india quota bvsc seats.

Neet examination is mandatory for following courses only

• MBBS

• BDS

• Ayush courses( Ayurveda i. e BAMS , Unani i.e B. U. M. S, Siddha i. e BSMS, and Homeopathy i.e BHMS ) and

• veterinary i. e BVSc. . ( neet is mandatory for only all india quota bvsc seats offered through AIPVT counselling, for state quota seats  , states can have  their own state level entrance examination)

Most of the states like BIHAR etc provide even state quota bvsc seats through neet. But there are some States which conduct their their own state level entrance examination for admission in BVSc

Some of the state level entrance for BVSC is given below:-

• Rajasthan conducts its own  state level entrance examination for providing admission in bvsc i. e RPVT i. e Rajasthan University of Veterinary Sciences  . It is conducted by Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences , Bikaner. And through this examination, admission in 312 BVSc seats is provided across Rajasthan. The above state level entrance examinations are conducted for 85% state quota seats only while for 15 % all india quota veterinary seats i. e BVSc seats, NEET is mandatory as admission  is on the basis of Neet examination only through aipvt counselling.
