IPMAT is an exam conducted by IIM Indore and offers 120 seats in totally for which the registeration of programme starts in the first week of August. On the other hand, NPAT is an exam conducted by NMIMS University, Mumbai and offers 600 seats in Mumbai campus, 120 each in Bangalore, Navi Mumbai and Indore and 60 in dhule.

Indian Institute of Management, Indore or IIM Indore which conducts the IPMAT test every year for the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Indore has a total of 120 seats with a reservation of 49.5%. Whereas the same course is not available via NPAT in NMIMS. It is an application only process. But the NPAT exam selects canditates for various other courses like the BBA programme which has about 720 seats in NMIMS' various campuses.
