To keep the student and parent community safe, VITEEE-2020 stands cancelled. The admission will be based on +2 / Pre-University marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology. And JEE exams will be given weightage asfollows:

Rank 1 to 20,000 – August 10th & 11th, 2020

Rank 20001 to 60000 – August 14th & 15th, 2020

Rank 60001 to 1 lakh –August 18th & 19th, 2020

Ranks above 1 lakh (eligible for VIT AP and VIT Bhopal campuses only)– August 22nd & 23rd, 2020.

Admission to the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) used to take place on the basis of the entrance test VITEEE. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the VITEEE stands cancelled. The admission to the VITs will now be on the basis of the JEE Mains rank. The forms for providing the rank and scores have already been provided in the VIT website: http://www.vit.ac.in/
