Which field has more scope in future, ENTC engineering vs aircraft maintenance engineering

Dear Sanket, I am mentioning you the scope for both the fields. Depending on your interest you can choose any of the field. Whatever branch you take, try to keep your aggregate first class/distinction so, you won't need any struggle in getting your jobs.
By doing E&TC engineering, you can also go to IT industries by doing courses like CDAC. You can become a software tester. Software testing is good for E&TC students because of E&TC background. Otherwise you can also go to ME or MBA but MBA is not a good option to E&TC engineering. You can also do diploma in networking. Some people also do jobs in banks by giving banking exams. Some people find jobs after passing BE only they don't do post graduation. You can also do interview classes, english communication classses for increasing your communication skills. In interviews, your communication is also considered. If you got good marks, then all paths become easy for you for getting jobs. Some people also try to give MPSC,UPSC exams. Whatever you do it's your wish.
To put it simply scope of aircraft maintenance engineering as a career is really great in India.
The reason is quite simple. The aviation sector in India is expanding rapidly. Every year airline companies are buying new planes and adding more air routes to the sky. Last year Indigo airline signed a deal worth $26.6 billion with Airbus. Indigo will buy at least 250 planes in coming years.
Similarly other airline companies are buying planes and upgrading their fleet.
I gave the example to just give you an idea how the industry is expanding and they are in a need of skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.
Moreover there are many other international airline companies operating in the country.
So the scope is really great for an aircraft maintenance engineer in coming years.
So, depending on your interest you can choose any of the field. Both fields are good in themselves. If you have potential and keen interest then you can excel in any of the branch.
All the best
Hope this helps

Hi sanket ,
Lets clear it with easy example electronic and communication branch as per the name in next many years the communicating skill between the devices is going to increase for sure because things are getting more advance day by day and things to operate are getting easier hence every companies hire ece engineers but when compared to aircraft engineering its score is definitely less as its bounded to only the work of aircraft maintaining so job opportunities are definitely less as compared to ece.
Hope it helps!!!

Hello student,
According to me aircraft maintenance engineering has better scope. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is one of the best courses in aviation sector. AME is three year license program regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India. Thescope of AMEis very good in Indian as well as Foreign airlines. As we know that India is the fastest growing aviation market after US and China. India placed an order of 1080 new aircraft so, the demand of AME in future increases. And this order is delivered in next year.
Each and every aircraft needs a regular maintenance and this maintenance is done by AME. Before a flight takeoff, there is a regular maintenance of an aircraft to check the flight is fit to fly or not. AME is responsible for the safety, security and maintenance of an aircraft. An AME is authorized to issue the Flight Releasing Certificate (FRC). Approx.50 AMEs is required to maintain an aircraft.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test is a national level common entrance test to get admission in AME INSTITUTIONS
