Hi hope you are doing good is aise pandemic situation.
Look let me get this straight, what you are asking me to compare apples and oranges.
Architecture and engineering a very different fields and have very different future perspectives.
But one thing is very sure that you should always choose that field which interest you. If you are interested in architecture you should pursue architecture and then look for job opportunities. You can also pursue higher education in the same field.
If you want to continue with engineering you would be most likely placed in a software company, (as there is very less placement for core branches in most colleges in India).
But if you do your BTech from NIT, it can help you to get a a higher education from abroad. Is NIT is a brand tag and many foreign countries admit students from nit.
To just give your broad perspective both the technological and architectural field are ever evolving as there will always be and demand of of quality engineers and architecture in this ever growing world.
after your BTech from NIT if you want you can also pursue a career in finance field, having an NIT tag would help you there too.
So after your BTech you are many chances either you can go for MBA or for the education in abroad or get an Mtech from India only and join the the core industries or start teaching in colleges.
There are multiple options in both fields.
in terms of salary and average architecture graduate would earn more than an engineering graduate due to basic supply and demand.
