I would say that if you are interested in any line of study, you should pursue your dream. Job opportunities are available in all branches of engineering, if you are passionate about any branch, you should look for it.
Other than that, in the digitization craze, CSE is in high demand alongside major private recruiters. Several IT industries are hiring software engineers and web developers in a big way. So if you are interested in coding and the web, you can go for Computer Science Engineering.
Second, if you are interested in circuits and want to do future study, or government work or research, you can go for ECE. You can land a job in the Consumer Electronics Manufacturing Organization, Automotive, Telecommunications, and IT Industries, Healthcare Equipment Manufacturing, Mobile Communications (2G, 3G, and 4G), Internet Technologies, Consumer Electronics. power and other industries such as the steel, oil, and chemical industries. and many more. It is a mix of CSE and US and thus gives a variety of opportunities.

Hope you are doing good.
Coming to your question, I feel you should choose a course that is of interest to you, since only then you will be able to do well in that course and during the placement.
Each Field is unique and provides different opportunities. Computer Science is a branch of engineering which deals in the study of basics of computer programming and networking, which includes topics related to computation, algorithms, programming languages, program design, computer software, computer hardware, etc whereas ECE deals with the design and development of electronic circuits, communication equipment like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC), and the transmission of data.
I have still mentioned some of the Engineering fields that have a good scope in the future:
Civil engineering
Aerospace engineering
Biomedical engineers
Software engineering
Environmental engineering
So find out what field you are interested in, and build a career path in it.
Once you complete your course you can sureky apply for jobs outside India also.
Good Luck
