NEET PYQ's & Solutions: Physics | Chemistry | Biology
Hello Mahesh!
You have a good score in NEET. Congratulations for that. The last seat through AIQ that got an individual from your category in NEET 2018 had an AIR of 51,117 with a NEET score of 438. In NEET 2017 (with which many have compared this year's cut offs to), the lowermost score for getting a seat through AIQ was 470 in Rajah Muthia Medical college with an AIR of 38,660. This year you have a slim chance in getting a college after first round of AIQ counselling. However, you have a chance at getting a college in the second round of counselling through All India. Make sure you fill the colleges in the order of preferances and alltogether leave those that you do not wish.
You would surely get a BDS seat in the very first round of AIQ. Since you have not mentioned your state and the preferance of state, I say that you have a sure shot at your state counselling for 85% of seats. I hope this answers your query. Even in competitive states like Haryana, the cut for government college went as low as 420 last year. For government aided, it was 417! Therefore, you have a good score. Wait for your category rank and make a well awared choice .
All the best for your future.
