IAS officer is the top most rank officer in civil services. But there are various services which will give you respect at various level but not that as an IAS officer. You can start for your respective state adminstrative services it's like IAS of state, but this also below an IAS. You can join defence services which are much highly respected and facilities are provided more than an IAS. Through Civil Services exam itself you can choose various group A post which have very good respect for their post like IPS, IES,IFS, IAAS,IRS etc. These are the field where you can apply for exam which are not equivalent but had good respect and facilities like an IAS.
