There are no Grade A jobs under SSC recruitment. All the Grade A officers for central govt. are recruited through UPSC. SSC recruits Grade B and Grade C officers. Though there is a Gazetted post (under SSC) like AAO, but it is also Grade B. For Grade A you must prepare for UPSC exams like civil services, defence exams (CDS, OTA, assistant commandant etc).
