It's depends on your interest. Computer, electricals, machines, construction, production, manufacturer, robots, vehicles etc.

According to me , Mechanical is the best choice.

There is lot of stuff you can learn.

You will understand why you are learning mechanical from 2nd year.(As in 1st year all subjects are basic and common type) You will have different fields in Mechanical like Design, Production, Thermal, etc. Which you learn in each semester.

There is wide range of learning in Mechanical. If your college/preferred college have Good In Club and other activities then you can Join in that clubs. Join in SAE INDIA it will help you learning faster. You can join in Eyantra(Robotics field, you have to give online test and participate in event) ,SAE SUPRA (about Formula vehicles every year it will be conducted) SAE Baja (Off road vehicles)

Ebike(electric bike). And SAE also conducts Zone wise and Section wise convention(you can participate in more than 30 events.(see website SAEINDIA)

You can get highest package in core mechanical field through campus placement more than 4.2 lpa.

If you get above 75% in your graduation then you have Good chance to study in Germany for MS.

Learn German language.

Or Get Good Score in GATE Exam for M.tech in IIT/NIT or you can go for Job.

Also make good communication with your professor in Graduation, they will help you.

All the best.

I think that you are asking about which branch is better. So,i would say that there is nothing like good Branch or bad branch. Each Branch has scope and jobs if you are a disciplined, hard working and a talented student. There is somehow trend that CSE or IT is preferred because currently it has more scope in INDIA.But,there are also a no. of job openings in every sector. You should have to grab them. Please join a Branch as per your interest and skills only.Never follow everyone. If you are interested in CSE,then only join that Branch. You can also join mechanical as mechanical is said to be evergreen Branch and has lot of opportunities in INDIA.You can also join Civil, Electrical as these are core Branches and has a much better scope regarding govt.jobs, higher studies, industries etc. So,please join your Branch accordingly and do hard work there to succeed in life.

All the best.

Hey !

I did not get what you mean by group in engineering course.

I assume you want to ask about the best branch in the field of engineering. Then i would like to tell you that no branch is better or best. All the branches are good in their own ways. You must choose the branch according to your interest only  . If you are confused in choosing the branch , then i can give you a brief description about all the branches , which can help you in choosing your branch.

  • civil engineering

It involves going to sites and taking care of comstruction management sites . The jobs can be typically tougher. It rarely gives you good money , if you are working under some company.

  • mechanical engineering

it also involves the same jobs as civil enginerring but jnstead of construction work , you have to do machine work in factories

  • electronics and electrical engineering

It is a highly job oriented course. There are many vacancies for this branch in public sector. But there is a lack of companies specially designed for this branch recruitments , so in many cases you may have to work in software companies only.

  • CSE and IT

these are the branches with the highest cutoffs and getting highest placements. After this branch , you can expect to work in software companies. The students of these branches are only placed in the top companies like google microsofy etc.

Hope it helps!
