Hello,

To become Indian Police Service officer you need to appear for Civil Services Entrance Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission. And the eligibility criteria to appear for UPSC Civil Service Entrance Examination is that you must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized board. You are also eligible to appear for UPSC CSE if you are in the final year of your bachelor's degree but you need to pass in the qualifying examination that is bachelor's degree on or before the cut off date and obtain the requisite certificates. As there isn't any course specific Education requirement you can opt any course in under graduate level from a recognized board. Also you can choose any stream in 10+2 level but opt a stream depending on the course you want to pursue in under graduate level. So you need to choose a stream based on your interest and capabilities.
