BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is a 5-years undergraduate program and the only approved professional dental course in India.
Eligibility criteria is-
The aspiring candidate must have passed the 10+2 qualifying exam or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised institute.
You need to qualify neet entrance to be eligible in most of dental Institutions.
During the internship period, the students may receive a monthly stipend of INR 15,000 - 40,000.
The average initial salary of these professionals ranges within INR 4-10 lacs per annum.
Bachelor of Physiotherapy or BPT is a 4-year undergraduate program which deals with the science of physical movement.
BPT Admission is generally fulfilled on the basis of entrance examinations conducted at national and state level like - IPU CET, BCECE, VEE, etc.
Average Bpt salary is 2-8 Lac per year.
Considering scope in India BDS is more valuable.
Both are equal in terms of salary factor.
