Hello aspirant,
Learning more about molecular biology, genetic engineering, cell biology, and other biological topics is essentially what studying biochemistry teaches you. Very little research is done on actual chemistry in biochem.
Chemistry includes chemical laboratories for synthesis, material characterisation, purification, and related activities. Again, Biochem has more labs dedicated to biology.
Each course has a particular work environment and is completely different from the other. Since I'm presently studying biotechnology and took both courses in my first year as well as future sub-subjects, I've given you insight about what goes on in both sectors. It is up to you to decide which field best suits your interests. The future is bright for both area s.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
Hello,
Both the courses have a huge scope in the future in their respective fields. Its upto you as to what you consider as your preferred option. You can consider MSc Biochemistry for opportunities in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and medical research. You can opt for MSc Chemistry for versatility in industries like chemicals and materials.
I hope this helps you,
