In government jobs , one can become agriculture development officer (ADO) and block development officer (BDO). Other employment opportunities are agriculture research scientist, extension officer , agriculture officer, field officer, plantation manager, research officer, food processing in government units, production manager, officer in quality assurance in related fields , etc.
Where as B.sc horticulture is more specialised field that b.sc agriculture . There is high demand of professionals in this field regarding plant cultivation . Government and private sectors offer employment opportunities in plantation , agriculture machinery units, agriculture products manufacturing unit, business firms, sales and marketing, field research work , teaching , irrigation department, project manager , landscape designer, horticulturist , foreman , and many more.
So both these fields offer lucrative job opportunities. You need to choose according to your own interest.
