Hello applicant,

Well I consider that case has more job opportunities then any other branch.

Ece and EEE becomes efficient for future when you are at your core company.

But we know that a programmer can adjust himself anywhere, because there are more chances to recruit a software developer.

For more details you can compare branches and placement records.

Hope it helps.

Hello student at this point of time I request you to focus on that branch in which you're really interested instead of which has more salary packages as salary packages and placements are directly based on your 4years academic performance.

Still cse is one of the best engineering branch according to salary packages.

In India R&D, innovation and electronics manufacturing sectors are very weak and do not provide enough opportunities to engineers of electronics, chemical, textile, instrumentation, bio-medical and aeronautical branches. However, service sector is the strongest as per job opportunities and commercial gains. Be it banking, airlines, insurance, railways, hospitals, hospitality or IT field; every where there is a requirement of software solution. The billions of devices produced in every sector from automobile to aerospace need microprocessor control, which are software driven. It is not only development or coding of these services and devices but also testing and life-time support, which needs CSE engineers in drove. This demand is not going to go away ever, albeit may slow down for limited periods. The major chunk of jobs offered in India, every year, are for CS engineers.

Expected salary: The expected salary for freshers is from Rs. 2.4 Lakh PA to Rs. 8.5 Lakh PA for jobs in India by the major MNCs. However, this goes up to Rs. 1 Crore PA for jobs offered to IITians by IT giants like Facebook, Google and Twitter. The top notch financial sector giants like Moodys, Meryl & Lynch, Poor & Standard, HSBC, City Bank etc offer Rs. 10-30 Lakh PA to the graduates of IITs, NITs, VIT, BITS and Manipal. The middle range MNCs like Mu-Sigma and Samsung easily offer Rs. 6.5 Lakh to Rs. 8.5 Lakh PA to the graduates of government and better private engineering colleges.

Feel free to comment if you have any doubt

Good luck

Dear candidate......,

Well, from the previous year ranking, computer science engineering or information technology has a greater number of placements as compared to other branches. Also computer science engineering is one the best engEngineer branches which is on demand. Most of the students opting computer science engineering are placed in leading companies with a high package.

Hope this helps you out.......

Hi Saraswathi,

In my opinion, CSE is the hottest and most sought after branch in engineering.

And you can get paid very well in this field if you add an MBA With it, you will be good to go and never look back.

After CSE it is obviously, ECE is the next choice.

hope it helps, good luck
