which identity type should a dropper opt for jee 2021 registration? I passed CBSE 12 this year 2020 and also there is no mention of adhaar card in identity type.

See there is an option of "Any other valid Govt identity with photograph", you can use this option to enter your AADHAR card number in just next column and this AADHAR card should be issued by none other than UIDAI which will be treated as your Identity type.

On December 16th 2020 the application process for JEE-Main 2021 February attempt has been started by National Testing Agency (NTA) which is the conducting authority for JEE-Main 2021. You can apply for JEE-Main from the official portal of JEE-Main which is given below :-

Note that this application process will continues till January 16th 2021 and last date for payment of application fee is January 17th 2021 after which neither application nor application fee will be accepted and then after the correction window will be opened for the applicants from January 19th to January 21st 2021. Admit cards will be available for download from second week of February 2021 and the examination will be conducted from February 23rd to February 26th 2021 in two shifts per day, for February attempt.

A candidate will also have option to apply for one Session or more than one Session (February/ March /April /May 2021) together and pay exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for one Session, he / she has to pay Examination Fee only for that Session during the current application period and will have opportunity to apply again for the March/ April / May Sessions.

To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteriabut yes if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category. Also from this year the examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and other regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.
