In 2019, almost 100% of the eligible students got placed in both off-campus and on-campus placement drives. Whereas in 2020, the placement percent was around 94%. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Some top recruiters include Deloitte, Samsung Group, Intel, Mercedes-Benz R&D, Bentley Motors, Infosys, etc. College provides good opportunities for internships too.

IIIT Raichur started its academic activity in August 2019 with its first batch of 30 BTech students in Computer Science and Engineering. The intake will be 30 for this year as well.

According to my perspective,
IIIT RAICHUR had started functioning from its temporary campus in Govt Engineering College, Raichur from the academic year 2020-21. As the mentor institute, IIT Hyderabad will continue to oversee the functioning of IIIT Raichur, until instructed otherwise by MoE.
So it is better to took admission in IIT DARWAD which has relatively older campus and have experienced placement cells.
