Academically AKGEC has always produced better results. Most of the toppers from UPTU merit list come from AKGEC.

In terms of infrastructure, both colleges are equally good. While AKGEC is sprawling, GL Bajaj is really lavish.

Sports is something AKGEC has always been a leader in. There is a great sport environment here. The best, without doubt.

In terms of placement, while the standard IT firms, and startups from Delhi/NCR come to both of the colleges. AKGEC bas just one mass recruiter for campus placement, Infosys. But 60+ companies, mostly for CS/IT, visit the college from September to June, including the Indian army and the navy. GL Bajaj though has 2+ mass recruiters, but the aggregate placement record of AKGEC is better.

But AKGEC is a college about 100 times more strict than the strictest you can imagine. There are severe attendance criteria, scary internal marks system and fine system.

Also, if you are looking for more than average library, or just say a better catalogue system, you won't find one in AKGEC.

So if you can live in a strict disciplined manner than only go for AKG otherwise go for GL Bajaj.
