Hello Nikhil.Both Computer Science Engineering(CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE) are the best branches in B.tech course.Since both are best branches you need to decide which one is the best depending upon your interest.If you are interested in programming then go to Computer Science Engineering.Whereas coming to ECE,it deals with the engineering problems related to electronics,computer telecommunication system and related industries.It purely depends on your interest to choose which branch is best.Also it depends on college to college.

There is no set best stream of Engineering. I would suggest you to go for the stream that attracts you the most. Engineering is tough and you need to bear with it for four long years. If the interest fades away it will definitely lower your marks as well as the knowledge growth. And that will help you grow your career and give you the best jobs. So learn everything with your heart and go through the syllabus of both. Whatever peaks your interest, choose it.
Both have tremendous scope in today's business world.

In Engineering field, you should always have to keep focus on your interest streams, rather than go with flow. You should have a clear vision before selecting any stream, of why are selecting it. In between CSE and ECE, both the streams have huge scope and demands in future. From the CSE stream you can go further for AI development, machine learning and Robotics, Cloud computing etc, and from ECE stream you can study further in space communications signal analyzing and related fields of communications.
