Both the course are better it totally depends on your interest. Both have good scope in the future.

There are tremendous job opportunities in the domain of Electrical Engineering which include positions in government / private sectors in generation, transmission and distribution of electrical power, e.g. state/central government run electricity boards, plant engineers, electrical design engineer, field application engineer, automation engineer etc.

There exists excellent job opportunities in the domain of electronics and communication engineering as well as electronics and instrumentation engineering. The field opens up the opportunities for under graduate and post graduate students spanning the areas of signals processing, embedded systems, control systems, computer networking, industrial electronics, VLSI Designs, Digital Signal Processing, Satellite Communications, Optical Fiber Communications etc.
