Bams is a 5.5 year long duration course which teaches you about ancient ayurved medicine and also modern medicine.
By doing Bams you will be able to add Dr. In front of your name.
There are so many career opportunities after doing bams in both India and abroad.

While in Pharmacy.

It is a 4 year course in which you learn about biochemistry and learn about medicines. There is so much scope after this too. But, you will be not called as a doctor after doing this.

You decide yourself, what's your interest and take decision according to it.

BAMS course are very popular among this pandemic period. People are aware in ayurvedic treatment style. BAMS IS BETTER COURSE IN A GENERAL PHARMACY.

Bams degree will take more time than pharmacy, almost double actually. You'll get the title of Doctor after Bams.. not the same case with B Pharma. Present government is promoting Ayurveda so it may have a better scope than B Pharma in future.

See pharmacy is not a clinical course. Its more over a course which deals with the Designing of the drugs, production and management. So its moreover like an Engineering course in a easier sense.
