GMRIT is good as compared to ANITS the greenery attracts you more than any thing else. College provide good infrastructure. It is a pollution and horn free campus. The College provides good sport arena which make u physically fit and mentally strong. Campus is 150 acre with clean road connectivity from department to department. And Canteen is similar to Canteen in movies. Faculty won't suffice to college. Some faculty may not teach well. Placements also good.

Both the branches that you mentioned in your query is good for engineering. However, IT branch has broader scope and many job related opportunities. You should choose the branch or college as per your preference.
