Hi,
According to the current varying scope, in my opinion you should go for BPT.
Both these courses have its unique features. B.Pharmacy graduate deals with Medicines and Research on medicines whereas a (BPT) helps patients with Muscular disfunctioning. As such looking at both the professions, both have immense scope in the future. Since Medicine is a daily requirement and people all around face some or the other muscular issue right from fracture to back pain etc., so a visit to a Physio is a must. Both have the advantage of beginning on their own. Only a Pharmacists after Graduation, needs to obtain their Pharmacy License and can begin their own medical store.
Also in this COVID-19 situation there was a need of lot of medicine in the country & also the world .Due to the opening of large pharmaceutical companies, the future in the field of pharmacy is bright. Numerous jobs are available for pharmacists in government as well as private organisations. After completing your studies, you can easily find jobs in pharmaceutical industries, government departments, colleges and universities, hospitals, investigation and research institute, etc. Now their is also option for an MBA in pharmaceutical management. Pharmacists can practice in community pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, extended care facilities, psychiatric hospitals, and regulatory agencies. Sales & Marketing job sector also hire a huge number of pharmacy graduates. One can also work in retail stores of medicines. After registering with the state Pharmacy Council, you can open chemist/drug shop and sell medicines as per doctor’s prescription.
On the other hand, BPT is an undergraduate course in science. The duration of the course is 3 to 4 years (depending on the University that offers the course). The course study mainly covers the method and techniques used in the eradication of diseases via physical exercises. The modern methods in physiotherapy treatment such as electrotherapy, rehabilitation therapy, etc. are also covered under the course. Further, physiotherapy also has a vast range of career options to choose. People can either work in India or go abroad and flourish their career in physiotherapy.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
