• Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc MLT) is a three-year undergraduate programme separated into six years (two semesters per year). • The BSc Operation Theatre Technology course is the fundamental graduating course that deals with ethics, operating room setup, and handling the many pieces of equipment required for surgery. An operation theatre technologist must be present in the operating room and support the physicians and nurses during the procedure. They must arrange all surgical pieces of equipment prior to surgery, as well as clean these important pieces of equipment prior to surgery. They must also heed the commands of a Surgeon throughout the surgery. All hospitals in India hire Operation Theatre Technologists to perform procedures such as plastic surgery, general surgery, gynaecology surgery, neurosurgery, and urology.
