Dear Aspirant,

I always feel very uncomfortable when Someone compares two completely dissimilar Branches and ask you to choose.

Please remember that what you are asking is a very personal choice and a preference that only you can decide.

If you like Software Development then choose CSE in average college.

Hence, if you are not at all bothered about what Branch you want to Study OR if you plan to do an MBA in the future (then your BE Branch automatically becomes irrelevant) then choose colleges in Karnataka

Choose wisely :-)

hlwo aspirant

hope you are doing well

. . it is ok to study cse in average college .If you are a good self learner then college does not have much influence. In every college they will teach you only something you have to learn everything on your own by referring textbooks, youtube, google, online courses, workshops etc  it is totally fine to study in an  average college for cse branch untill and unless you like the stream.  If you really have interest then there are more chances that you will become successful as at the time of placements your practical knowledge about the course matters especially in computer science and as you gain experience there are more chances that you will get a higher package . So study well not just for gpa as it matters only upto certain level and start doing internships in college only , you will get a learning experience.

It is all dependent on how you can do better. Top colleges have top teachers with high teaching facilities and good placement records like IIT and NIT colleges. That is why, competition is high in these colleges. You can apply even in your state colleges. If you can do self study and are interested in doing the course, you will be definitely succeeded. Make sure that you build your resume by doing internships, participating in workshops, doing courses like NPTEL. Also, keep your score higher than 60% for better career opportunities.

I'll suggest you to go for top colleges in india for engineering. and if you don't get success is this then you can for cs from an average college as previously i mentioned it is not the college who gives you the best job, it's is your domain knowledge, skills and experience which gives you the best work place.

see both the option are okay.

hope this is helpful for you

all the best for your future
