After completing the course of hotel management there are various job opportunities for the student to work with large hotel chains including the Taj group, ITC, Oberoi hotels, Hilton group etc. There is a huge demand of skilled professionals in the merchant navy and cruise ship. there are ample of job opportunities are waiting for you in various areas such as Cafeteria, Airline Catering (flight kitchen) and Cabin Services, Club management, Cruise Ship Hotel Management, Hospital administration and catering, Hotel and Tourism Associations, Hospitality services in the Indian Navy, Forest Lodges, Guest Houses, resorts, Kitchen Management Catering departments of railways, banks, armed forces, shipping companies, etc.
There are plenty of government as well as private sector jobs available for BSc Agriculture graduates. They can be appointed as Research Officer, Quality Assurance Officer, Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Loan Officer (in Banks), Production Manager, Operations Manager and Farm Manager with State agriculture departments.
In the private sector, agriculture science graduates may find jobs as managers at plantations, as officers at fertilizer manufacturing firms, agriculture machinery industries, agricultural products marketing firms, food processing units etc. The average starting salary of these officers is generally between Rs. 5 to 6 lakh per annum (including incentive).
