NIT Srinagar is Very good in comparison to NIT Manipur in many ways :

1. Placement of NIT Srinagar is very very good as compared to NIT Manipur. NIT Srinagar have 100% placement in CSE,IT. Almost 9o% placement in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and communication.

Weather of NIT Srinagar is simply awesome. It comes in top 5 most beautiful campus in India.

3.Faculty of NIT Srinagar is very much Experienced and old. since it was established in 2003 And NIT Manipur was established in 2010 and is quite new.

4 . NIT Manipur dont have Chemical engineering , Information Technology ,metallurgical engineering.

5. NIT Srinagar have good hostels compared to NIT Manipur. Since the hostels of NIT Manipur are in under construction.

6. Highest packages for NIT Srinagar is 10lacs-11lacs and average is 5lacs–5.5 lacs. And for NIT Manipur, Highest packages are 6lacs-7lacs and average packages are nearly about 3.87lacs.

But the highest package was 72 lacs in CSE from NIT Srinagar in 2011.

So, NIT Srinagar is good as compared to NIT Manipur in many ways. But even the moon has a dark side.
