Which is best for mechanical engineering either kakatiya institute of technology or mgit
You've asked a nice question but before getting into that, i would like to tell you that every branch in mgit is good and have proper faculty. Ofcourse as an eamcet college we may not have high R&D but trust me our faculty (on whole) is really working hard for making their research published in journals.
Coming to your question..
Mechanical engineering as of whole is a beautiful branch and you need to have good skills and knowledge in the content of mechanics and science of motion and make yourself prepared for the branch.
The faculty is really good as i ve said before and the branch has good no of labs (as instructed by jntuh) to promote practical cum theoretical learning.
The branch also have good no of placements inlcuding IT and CORE
All you have to do is prepare yourself.!
Now coming towards kakatiya
What'll gain from Warangal is very good campus life, be it hostel or just curriculum.
Pros-
College Life,
Good infrastructure.
Experienced faculty.
Cons-
Difficult to get placed if not from cse/IT.
Placements : The placements are very good but are very limited. Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys etc., had visited this college. The placements are bad due to lack of communication skills, but faculty encourages. Every year up to 500 students will get placements. Overall, the college is bad.
Infrastructure : The infrastructure is good in the mechanical engineering department. No Wi-Fi is available in the college. The infrastructure is very old in college. The infrastructure in labs is in bad condition. No body will take care of them. No books are available in the library.
Hello student,
If choosing one go for MGIT for sure. This year, many companies visited the college MGIT with their placement offers. Among them, Deloitte, Wipro, Infosys are the top ones with packages starting from 3 LPA to 12 LPA. The placements were good, and even the packages were good. Compared to last year, the percentage of placements increased this year with huge opportunities to the graduate students. The final year students were happy after the placements.
Cheers!
