There is a really tough competition among the IIT colleges to stay on the top. The best college for mechanical engineering as of this year is Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. IIT Bombay ranks on top of the list in every aspect right now. But the statistics change every year and there may be another IIT college topping the list next year.
