Both HR and Marketing have good and equal scope if one has the required skill sets.
Now, if the candidate is below average in terms of knowledge, then candidate (MBA Marketing) still easily get a job as companies require more marketing executives compared to HR executives and those candidates (MBA HR) who dont get a job in HR generally end up in recruiter profile, working in some recruiment firms who just send candidates to companies for interviews after briefly assessing candidate’s profile. Dont worry, with time, hard work & experience both HR and Marketing MBAs get a lot of growth & opportunities.

Hello Aishwarya,
Bhout these specialisation are very good courses in MBA.
You should not ask this question, instead you should ask which is best for you? See both these domains are very different from each other.
If we talk about growth and scope marketing has a wider scope than HR or any other specialisation. You will find more job opportunities in marketing as compared to HR. But marketing can be very challenging for students because it requires alot of skills.
So you need to analyse yourself and find out whags best for you.
I would say, if you do not fear meeting new people and challenging situations then go for marketing. Also If you have great people skills and a sence of leadership you should go for HR. Rest is up to you.
Hope this helps, Thank You
All the best
