One of the oldest hospitals in the country, great heritage value

Huge campus.

The streets, wards, rooms are very clean and tidy.

Has the best infrastructure among all the colleges in kolkata according to surverys.

only government superspeciality hospital in west bengal,huge patient load and big variety of cases which will give you a better learning experience.

No student union. politics is minimal. awesome senior-junior relationship.

only college which has the best location in terms of everything,be it transportation or other.

Victoria memorial is just opposite to the acad buildings.it has pretty much become the college students' hangout zone.also you will get an awesome view from your practical rooms as well as hostel.

Nandan,planetorium,forum mall,maidan,parkstreet,eden,princep ghat, everything is so close by.

great food joints available all around this place.

CONS

no union,so the cultural part is a little weak.Fests happen but are not very big.

the undergrad system started since 2004,so the alumni base is not that huge compared to other colleges.

Academically, all the 3 colleges r good.

So its on you now. All the best. choose wisely.

organizes one of the best fests - RHAPSODY

infrastructure : good.

good location transportation wise. metro close by.

CONS

strength : 250. which is huge.  distribution  consists of more number of student per batch in practical groups, wards, dissection batch. (trust me, less the number of students, better for you)

CALCUTTA NATIONAL MEDICAL COLLEGE :

PROS

Very old college, more the number of alumni.

Organizes one of the best fests of the year in kolkata - AGON.

The college campus and the hospital campus are different seperated by the main road.

CONS

Capacity is 200 students.

No metro route closeby. closest maidan metro which is 2.7km

Also, transportation is bit difficult.
