It all depends on the NIT that you are talking about. IIIT ranks equal to some of the NITs while there are certain NITs which are better than IIIT. So if you are interested in computer science then IIIT Hydrabad, IIIT bangalore,IIIT Delhiare better options then NITs.

If you are interested in going to NITs then going to NIT Warangal, Surathkal, and Trichy are better options for you.
